Philosophical and social essay

La ventana humana

Ensayo sobre corregibilidad, control y tiempo

Unpublished · Spanish-language original

A decision may remain open to formal review when its consequences can no longer be undone. How long do we actually retain control?

Information may arrive in time and still change nothing. La ventana humana follows the distance between recognising a danger and retaining the ability to act on it.

Drawing on concrete situations in economic and institutional life, this essay asks what happens when consequences move faster than our capacity to understand them. It considers responsibility, the cost of delay and the room a society needs to preserve if it is to change course.

Themes

  • Knowing and acting in time
  • Control and effective intervention
  • Decisions that preserve alternatives

Editorial focus

For philosophical and social non-fiction lists connecting public decisions with the experience of time. Its central question is when the formal possibility of review ceases to offer meaningful control.
