Argentine Fire

at 69° North

Argentine fire cooking meets Northern Norway.

Argentine Fire at 69° North is a commercial gastronomy concept developed in Tromsø, Northern Norway.

It explores what happens when the traditions of Argentine live-fire cooking encounter the ingredients, landscape and hospitality culture of the Arctic.

The project begins with a simple premise: fire is not only a cooking technique. It is a way of gathering people, transforming ingredients and creating an experience around food.

Argentine grilling traditions provide the starting point, but the objective is not to reproduce an Argentine restaurant abroad. The concept is designed to evolve through the products, seasons and possibilities of Northern Norway.

THE CONCEPT

Argentine Fire at 69° North combines:

  • Live-fire cooking

  • Argentine grilling traditions

  • High-quality Norwegian ingredients

  • Storytelling around territory, migration and adaptation

  • Carefully designed hospitality experiences

INITIAL FORMATS

The project will initially be validated through selected formats such as:

  • Pop-up dinners

  • Private dining

  • Corporate events

  • Collaborations with restaurants and hospitality venues

  • Tourism experiences

  • Gastronomic workshops

  • Cultural and culinary events

ARGENTINA × NORTHERN NORWAY

Argentina and Northern Norway appear geographically distant, but both have strong relationships with landscape, climate, food and identity.

Argentine Fire at 69° North explores this encounter through food rather than attempting to reproduce one culture inside another.

Argentine techniques can meet Norwegian fish, meat, vegetables and seasonal ingredients. Norwegian landscapes and products can, in turn, transform how Argentine fire cooking is interpreted.

FROM CONCEPT TO MARKET

The first phase of the project is focused on market validation.

Rather than opening a permanent restaurant immediately, Argentine Fire at 69° North will be tested through selected events, partnerships and hospitality formats.

This approach allows the concept, economics, customer experience and operational model to be tested before larger commitments are made.

COMMERCIAL DEVELOPMENT

Argentine Fire at 69° North is conceived as a commercially sustainable venture.

Potential revenue streams include:

  • Ticketed gastronomic experiences

  • Private and corporate events

  • Commissioned hospitality experiences

  • Collaborations with tourism operators

  • Workshops and educational formats

  • Brand and producer partnerships

  • Longer-term restaurant or residency formats
